CIGARETTE PROJECT WITH IFOP

For IFOP, I produced this piece as part of a research study commissioned by a major Japanese company on the culture and imagery surrounding the cigarette. A single cigarette hangs suspended inside a glass case, a thin trail of smoke still rising from its lit end, treated like a museum artifact. A ceiling fan and a classical marble statue sit nearby, and soft red fuzzy spheres break up the background, in a world where the traditional cigarette has already disappeared.
